For a special project, the second graders learned to do portraits in the style of
Modigliani. Touchingly, my son chose to draw
his sister.
All of us thought it turned out well, except . . .

"Why did you make my neck like that?" -- The Subject, hitting The Artist with a stuffed monkey

lol .. the Subject may kindly note that, despite the neck issue, the Subject's mouth is depicted by the Artist as a small ❤ .. a token of the Artist's everlasting devotion and affection for the Subject, no doubt
